The website needs to interact with all the online forums such as twitter and instagram. Technology will impact on you because people will want to collaborate with you through the internet. You need to able to share midi files and be adept at sharing audio and video files on soundcloud and forums like bandcamp.

There are of course some negative aspects of all this technology in that it may impart on your time. As an artist you make just wish to improve your art and that's important too. Creating a good work balance is important but technology and how it impacts you cant's be avoided Navigation is important. Understanding as well that you can't do everything yourself and there are plenty of resources available through agents and promoters and it's worthwhile exploring these agency's as well in the management of your music business.
